All middle school and high school students from our community are invited to participate in Jewish Federation's inaugural Teen Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to benefit the City Mission of Schenectady Neighbor 2 Neighbor Headquarters!

Teen volunteers will sort and organize the donations that are received at this distribution center. In advance of this day, teens will be asked to collect new or like-new sneakers and hoodies for the clothing room at the MLK elementary school which is kept stocked by City Mission.

Mike Saccocio, Executive Director & CEO of City Mission of Schenectady, and Rob Kovach, CEO & President of Jewish Federation of NENY will speak to our teens about the importance of volunteerism.

A kosher lunch will be provided.

Community service hours are available.
